Non-Governmental Organization


Care India

CARE India is a leading national development organization, which has extensive global network. They emphasize on helping disadvantaged women and girls escape poverty. In times of natural disasters, CARE also delivers emergency aid to survivors and assists in them rebuilding their lives.

The Foundation’s partnership with CARE India has made possible the launch of Udaan, an accelerated learning program for older out-of-school girls, aged 11-14 to complete primary school in 11 months in a residential setting.

State Governments


Department of Elementary Education Haryana

The Department of Elementary Education, is part of the state government in Haryana that works to bring quality elementary education into the Haryana state. Its activities include running of schools, giving scholarships, free textbooks, and providing mid-day meals to the school going children of Haryana.

The Foundation supports the efforts of the Department of Elementary Education by filling in the resource gaps in the system. For instance, the Foundation has provided training for the Headmasters and Sarpanches, mobilized the communities in Mewat, set up bridge schools, and carried out village resource mapping etc.

Government of Karnataka

The Department of Education, is part of the state government in Karnataka that works to bring quality education into the Karnataka state. SRF Foundationin collaboration with Capgemini and Dept. of Education of Karnataka has initiated "School Adoption Project" aiming at holistic transformation of 10 govt. schools of Bangalore and project "Akshara" to provide notebooks in 60 govt. schools of South - IV division, Bangalore.

The project aims to reach out to 3,514 students from 10 govt. schools and 16,000 students from 60 schools.

Government of Tamil Nadu

SRF Foundation along with the Department of Education, Tamil Nadu has been working together in Chengalpattu, Gummidipoondi, Manali, Chennai and Viralimalai. The Foundation runs its 4 'Model Schools' in the govt. schools of Tamil Nadu where we bridge the gaps in elementary education by doing academic interventions and infrastructure development reaching out to 2,000 students.

The government also helps us for the smooth functioning of 4 IBM KidSmartEarly Learning Centers which impacts 1,400 students. Recently, the Foundation in collaboration with Department of Education of Tamil Naduhas initiated "School Adoption Project" aiming at holistic transformation of 10 govt. schools and project "Akshara" to provide notebooks in 60 govt. schools of Chennai. The project aims to reach out to 7,800 students from 10 govt. schools and 30,000 students from 60 govt. schools.

Government of Uttarakhand

The Foundation supports the efforts of Uttarakhand Government by filling in the resource gaps in the system by converting government school to 'Model Schools'in Kashipur by doing academic interventions, like providing training for the Headmasters, teachers and Sarpanches and infrastructure development of the schools by providing basic amenities like toilets, drinking water facility, libraries, etc.

Till date we have four 'Model Schools' in Kashipur which are impacting 415 students.

Government of Madhya Pradesh

SRF Foundation partners with the Government of Madhya Pradesh for many of its projects in its plant location of Gwalior and Indore. With the help of the government the Foundation is running 17 'Model Schools' in Gwalior and Bhind impacting 4,174 students, 3 IBM KidSmartEarly Learning Programme centers which are reaching out to 1,200 students and Teachers Try Science to Middle School programme in 30 Govt. schools of Gwalior impacting 4,500 students.

Government of Rajasthan

The Foundation supports the efforts of Rajasthan Government by filling in the resource gaps in the system by converting government school to 'Model Schools' in Bhiwadi by doing academic interventions, like providing training for the Headmasters, teachers and Sarpanches and infrastructure development of the schools by providing basic amenities like toilets, drinking water facility, libraries, etc.

Till date we have 12 'Model Schools' in Rajasthan impacting 2,840 students. With the help of the government we also run 12 IBM KidSmart Early Learning Programme in Bhiwadi which provides state-of-the art computer-aided learning to 4,200 government school students.

Government of Gujrat

With the government of Gujrat too the Foundation has collaborated to convert government school into 'Model Schools' in Dahej by doing academic interventions and infrastructure development of the schools. Today we have 10 'Model Schools' in Dahej reaching out to 2,650 students.

The Foundation is also running 11 IBM KidSmart Early Learning Programme in collaboration with the Education Department of Gujrat Government in Dahej which provides state-of-the art computer-aided learning to 3,850 government school students.

Haryana Police

The Haryana Police was formed to provide security and to create a peaceful and law abiding community to the people of Haryana. Today, Haryana Police has a total strength of 55605 and it maintains order in 4 ranges, 2 Police Commissionerates- Gurgaon and Faridabad and 19 districts.

Together with the Haryana Police department, The Shri Ram School (TSRS) have set up a secondary school on the premises of Centre for Police Training and Research at Bhondsi. The school will follow teaching as that of TSRS and a total of 50% of the seats will be reserved for children of police personnel.

The Times Group

The Times Group is India’s largest media conglomerate, with five dailies, two lead magazines, 29 niche magazines, 32 radio stations, two Television News Channels, and one Teleivision Life Style Channel. Its major publications include the Times of India and The Economic Times – two of the largest in the country with approximately 4.3 million copies circulated daily.

The Foundation partners the Times Group to bring spoken English classes to the underprivileged area of Mewat. The classes aim to upgrade the skills of the participants, so that more employment opportunities will be opened to them.

Schneider Electric (SCHNEIDER)

Schneider Electric is a leading brand in electrical equipment, which provides skill based employability training on electrical trade. 

Since this was the type of training that youths in Mewat were interested in, SRF Foundation approached SCHNEIDER for partnership on joint training and job placement. To date, a meeting has taken place between both parties, and verbal agreement has been given. The next step would be for SCHNEIDER to visit the field location and sign the MoU with SRF Foundation.

Coca-Cola India Pvt Ltd/Enrich Agro Pvt Ltd

'Support My School' campaign is the centrally sponsored program of Coca Cola India Pvt Ltd/Enrich Agro to revitalize schools and to ensure that education reaches every child; it is imperative that children study in healthy and active schools, schools that offer basic amenities and a healthy environment for children. 

The Foundation's partnership will create maximum impact and will make a difference in 8 village schools by providing quality education and training that inspire school children from all section of Mewat District.

Tetra Pak is the world's leading food processing and packaging solutions company. The co-partnership with Tetra Pak for 'Support My School' program will change the face of the school and will prepare school children for tomorrow's connected world, increasing their general knowledge and widening their scope of knowledge.

IBM India

IBM has been collaborating with the Foundation in its IBM KidSmart Program and Techniques of Teaching Science to Middle Schools (TTS-MS) for children and teachers associated with government schools in Haryana and other parts of the country.

KidSmart Program targets children and teachers of primary school and TTS-MS Program targets teachers and lectures of Science education at DIET and school Level.

Sequoia

SRF Foundation along with Sequoia Capital and individual philanthropistslaunched a project: 'Shri Udaan' in April 2016 at The Shri Ram Schools (TSRS) to address the academic needs of children from Economically Weaker Section (EWS).

Additional teachers across sites, both at Vasant Vihar & Moulsari are ensuring learning at par with their peers in the long run. English being the medium of instruction, a large emphasis is laid on English communication and comprehension and strengthening the Arithmetic skills as well.

Capgemini India, is part of the global Capgemini Group which is one of the world's foremost providers of consulting, technology, outsourcing services and local professional services. Present in over 40 countries with almost 180,000 people, the Capgemini Group helps its clients transform in order to improve their performance and competitive positioning.

In August 2016, Capgemini India joined hands with SRF Foundation to initiate "School Adoption Project" aiming at holistic transformation of 20 government schools of Chennai and Bangalore locations impacting 11,314 students.Apart from this, 'Project Akshara' was also launched which reaches out to 16,000 students of 60 schools in Bangalore and 30,000 students from 60 schools in Chennai by providing them with notebooks.SRF Foundation acting as implementing agency collaborated with Dept. of Education of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu for the "School Adoption Project".

HP

The Hewlett-Packard commonly known as HPis a multinational information technology company which has developed and provided a wide variety of hardware components as well as software and related services to consumers, small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and large enterprises, including customers in the government, health and education sectors.

With SRF Foundation HP has started a mobile bus for digital inclusion in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan. This initiative is to bridge the digital divide among the school going children, youth and community and making linkages to government programmes and initiatives. It aims to promote e-learning for children, skills and entrepreneurship in youth and digital services for the community. In the tenure of 39 months of our partnership, we are aiming to reach out to 45,630 children, youth and community.

UN Agencies


UN Habitat

UN-Habitat is the United Nations programme working towards a better urban future. Its mission is to promote socially and environmentally sustainable human settlements development and the achievement of adequate shelter for all.

With SRF Foundation, UN-Habitat joined hands to collaborate for NDTV Coca-Cola 'Support My School' campaign Season - 4. Covering 10 schools of District Mewat (Haryana), Gwalior and Bhind (Madhya Pradesh) and benefitting nearly 3,205 school children.The project aims to provide an environment for the holistic development of the children through fun-filled learning, play and sports and access to proper to health and hygiene.

Singapore Management University

The Singapore Management University offers established undergraduate and postgraduate programs that aim to produce leaders and creative entrepreneurs capable of excelling in a rapidly changing and dynamic world.It advocates partnerships from all over the world to give their students the much needed exposure.

The partnership with SRF Foundation, through mutually benefitting internships, has led to the development of various marketing strategies and documentation efforts. The interns have revamped the Foundation’s websites, created marketing collateral and social media platforms, conducted field research, and contributed photo essays on the Foundation’s blog.

The Shri Ram School (TSRS)

The Shri Ram School (TSRS) was set up in 1988, under the aegis and vision of Padma Shree Late Mrs. Manju Bharat Ram. Its progressive, inclusive, secular, child-centric philosophy has led it to be rated as India’s Number One Day School by Education World’s schools survey consecutively in 2008,2009,2011 and 2014.

TSRS partners the Foundation to share its academic and non-academic expertise for the benefit of the Mewat Rural Education Program (MREP). It shares its best practices, and its teachers participate in running extra-curricular activities for the Mewat children on Saturdays. In addition, it lends its philosophy and guidance to the Foundation’s Enhancing Early Education Program (3EP).
