In collaboration with Capgemini India and the Education Department of the Government of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh, Capgemini School Adoption project is SRF Foundation’s educational initiative aimed at the holistic transformation of ten schools each in Chennai and Bengaluru and three schools in Noida, UP.
Capgemini School Adoption project has two major elements, namely:
• Structural Learning through InnoSTE(A)M (Science Technology Engineering Arts Mathematics) which focuses on building capacity of teachers and students to scientifically think and solve problems.
• Smart Classrooms to provide digital based education to program schools. This also includes providing digital equipment in the intervention schools, along with workshops for teachers to keep them abreast with the digital world.
Apart from this, SRF Foundation also runs ‘Project Akshara’ along with Capgemini India which reaches out to 16,000 students from 60 schools in Bengaluru and 30,000 students from 60 schools in Chennai by providing notebooks to them.
