In his lifetime, Anand aims to enable India’s education system as a space where each child can discover who they are and achieve what they want to do, irrespective of where they are coming from. He deeply believes this can be achieved by focusing on the holistic development of a child through 21st-century education and using technology as a medium to achieve impact at scale.
Towards this aim, his work with TAP, the organisation he co-founded, has enabled him to support middle and high school students from low-income families across India by developing 21st-century skills (Digital Literacy, Social and Emotional Learning, and Financial Literacy).
TAP with a growing and deeply passionate team, has directly impacted 34,000+ students in 23-24. They aim to impact over 1 million children by 2027, enabling them with the necessary skills and opportunities to be leaders of today and tomorrow.
In 2021-TAP won the Harvard Presidents Innovation Challenge grand prize in the social impact category, and we were incubated under Harvard Innovation Labs(2021).
Anand’s prior experiences lie in start-up building. He has managed multiple million-dollar products through different enterprises during his time with a fintech organization at its early stages. He has also previously built a successful for-profit e-commerce enterprise.
