Lalit Nirula is a second-generation member of a family that has been in the Hotel and Restaurant industry. Nirula’s, his family venture is known for introducing Indian diners to new, non-traditional food recipes, innovative concepts and a modern work culture.

Mr. Nirula’s personal commitment to education is backed by his active involvement in a number of educational and charitable institutions. These range from village and urban slum schools to the best private schools, colleges and institutes of liberal arts and science, home economics and hotel management in the Indian sub-continent. He is also involved with the Blind Relief Association, Durgabhai Deshmukh College of Delhi University, Shroff Eye Hospital, among others.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University and Bachelor of Science Degree in Hotel Administration from Cornell University.
