Justice R. S. Sodhi enrolled as an Advocate in the High Court of Delhi on July 27, 1972. He practiced in constitutional, civil, criminal, land revenue and excise matters in the High Court as well as the Supreme Court of India. In Punjab, he served as the Advocate-on-Record and also as the Additional Advocate General in the Supreme Court of India. He was appointed permanent Judge of the Delhi High Court in 1999. His contribution in the administration of justice has been immense and he has delivered many landmark judgements strengthening the common man’s faith in the judiciary.
