Vasvi Bharat Ram is the Joint Vice Chairperson of The Shri Ram Schools in Delhi NCR. She is a member of the Executive Committee of The Shri Ram Schools, which takes decisions on Policies, Recruitments, Finance and Expansions.
Furthermore, under the aegis of Shri Educare Limited, an education consultancy company established by her family, she has been instrumental in setting up The Shri Ram Millennium Schools in the National Capital Region and now serves as a member of the Management Committee of these schools.
Vasvi Bharat Ram is also the immediate past President of FLO, the women’s wing of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). As the premier women’s business organization in the country, FLO has been working towards advocating steps that the Central and State Governments can take to economically empower women. Vasvi is a strong advocate of equal participation of women in economic activities, especially at the grassroots. She has been working towards the cause of women empowerment for the past ten years and as a member of FICCI’S Education Committee, she has led a number of initiatives to empower women in the field of education, that include employing more women in schools in non-teaching jobs, to help address the issue of children safety.
As the Education Chair, YPO Delhi Chapter, she was the recipient of the award for the Best Education Year, selected from amongst all the eleven chapters in YPO South Asia in the year 2013-14.
Vasvi earned a degree in Bachelor of Arts from Delhi University and a post-graduation diploma in Business of Fashion Management from the London College of Fashion in London. She has also completed a number of executive education programs from globally renowned universities, including one from the Harvard Business School in Boston.
